After a great day at Toledo Zoo with family the only thing to top the day off was a great dinner and bottle of wine @ Eddie Merlots in Bloomfield Hills. If you have a chance request Theodore in Main Dining area or Dan at the Bar. Both men give excellent service. Today&#39;s dinner was for $29 for Caesar Salad, Blackened Salmon with Orzo Rice and a Creme Brulee. What a great price for this awesome meal.

Devin took care of us for our 1 year anniversary, and Eddie Merlot&#39;s made it a very, very enjoyable and delicious experience. We made reservations for a booth, and were sat towards the back, and we could hear the live band in the bar area. We asked if we could move and they hostesses were very accommodating and quick to reseat us. The Carpaccio is second to none. My wife ordered a Moscow Mule but was wanting cucumber vodka. They didn&#39;t have any, but offered to muddle some cucumber in grey goose, and her drinks were fantastic! I would easily order it again, and again. Not to mention it is the BEST I have ever had. Our steaks were great, and sides were awesome. Hats off to Devin for taking such great care of us! ask for him!!

This restaurant is a welcome new addition to North Scottsdale&#39;s fine dining restaurants. Our first visit was for happy hour. They have a great lounge menu with half off appetizer&#39;s and discounted cocktails. We had a wonderful server, Amy, who was so much fun. She was both attentive and very witty, just a delightful personality. She introduced us their Platinum Club Rewards Program, which we signed up for. Our second visit was in the main dining room. Again, the service was excellent. Our server was Tresha this time and she was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the Sea Bass and it was outstanding. This restaurant is fast becoming one of our favorites! We will return again soon

A fairly good western restaurant, the boss is nice and welcoming, and takes care of diners.

We decided to give Eddie Merlot&#39;s a try on our anniversary. The decor reminded me of Fleming&#39;s which is only about half a mile down the street. Our waiter was excellent! I had the lobster bisque and a medium 7 oz filet. The bisque was delicious! I think it rivals the bisque at Ruth&#39;s Chris. The filet was just okay. I still think that Ruth&#39;s Chris has the most delicious steaks. We had the Eddie&#39;s potatoes and the brussel sprouts. The potatoes were nothing special and the brussel sprouts were decent. Overall, I think the food was overpriced and nothing special. We won&#39;t likely be returning.
